Board of Visitors Executive Committee Emergency Meeting

The Executive Committee of the Old Dominion University Board of Visitors will meet on Monday, May 18, at 12:00 Noon. Pursuant to Executive Amendment 28 to HB29 (2020), the Board will meet by electronic communication means, without a quorum and without any Committee member physically assembled at one location, to discuss or transact business statutorily required or necessary to continue operations of the Board and the discharge of its lawful purposes, duties and responsibilities.

Following a motion and vote of the Board of Visitors to convene in closed session, members of the Board and designated University officials will leave the open session call and proceed in closed session. Following the closed session, the Board of Visitors will reconvene in open session to certify that only public business matters lawfully exempted from open meeting requirements and which were identified in the motion authorizing the closed session were heard, discussed, or considered in closed session and to take any action as required.
Members of the public may submit written comments related to the attached agenda to the Executive Secretary to the Board at dmeeks@hrfjk.com by 10:00 a.m. on May 18. Public comments should address only the items listed on the attached agenda and will be distributed to the Board prior to the meeting.
