Daniel Campbell

Daniel Campbell has served as the Research Development & Outreach Coordinator in the Office of Research since 2014. He manages four faculty intramural grant programs for the office. He oversees all aspects of the workshops & events offered on campus aimed at faculty research development. Dan also develops four bi-weekly targeted funding opportunity emails for faculty. He coordinates the Science Pub series of engagement events that bring ODU researchers out in the local community. He also manages the Faculty Research Achievement Award process.

Prior to joining the Office of Research, Dan worked in ODU’s Office of Alumni Relations as the Director of Constituent Relations from 2007-14 and the Assistant Director for Special Events from 2005-07. He has worked in a variety of settings in higher education over the past two decades. Dan has a Master of Education from Bridgewater State University and a Bachelor of Arts from Loyola University Maryland.
